Fallout 4 New Creatures Mod

Oh, Fallout 4, why can't we ever seem to quit you? Here we are, closing in on three years since launch -- and more than two since the last official story DLC landed -- but all those fabulous mods keep us returning to the Commonwealth wasteland again and again.

  2. Fallout 4 Creature Variety Mods
  3. Fallout New Vegas Creatures Mod

Bethesda knows what's up, as the patches for this aging game keep on coming. Fallout 1.22 (listed as Fallout 1.10 on PS4) offered up a curious entry in the patch notes, indicating that 'pet support' is now being implemented.

Download the mod now. Best Fallout 4 Mods: Bullet Time. Fallout 4’s V.A.T.S. Mechanic is great, and allows you to target various limbs on enemies for precise damage. This page lists all creatures in Fallout: New Vegas.: The content is not described in full detail on this page. For details, please see the respective articles. For creatures in other Fallout games, please see 'Creature'.; For an overview of Fallout: New Vegas content, please refer to 'Portal:Fallout: New Vegas'.

It isn't entirely clear yet what that means, but it's a good bet that we can expect a bunch of pet options to arrive in the Creation Club soon. If you don't want to wait for those paid entries to show up, the amazing Fallout 4 mod community already has you covered (as usual).

In the slides ahead, we cover all the best Fallout 4 pet mods currently available that expand out your options for Dogmeat, or even let you recruit a wide range of pets, from mirelurks to death claws! Unfortunately, most of these aren't available for console, but where they can be found we've included links for the Xbox One/PS4 versions.

Creature Follower ESP Version

If you aren't sure where to begin with all the Fallout 4 pet mods available and want a nice comprehensive option that offers a huge range of creatures as companions, this is the place to go first.

The Creature Follower mod gives full companion dialog (minus romance of course ... this isn't a freaky animal fetish mod from Skyrim!) and the ability to summon 26 different creature companions, including deathclaws, yao guai, synths, mole rats, radscorpions, super mutant behemoths, and even a cat.

Sadly, that last one isn't useful for combat, but obviously the rest are very viable companion options that will have your back when the raiders attack!

Beast Master Creature Companion Overhaul

This fabulous mod works similarly to the previous one, but it's meshed into the existing framework of the game more smoothly and isn't so obviously breaking the core concepts.

Rather than simply summoning a random animal companion, this one instead adds in a brand-new taming element where you have to capture creatures using the Wasteland Workshop mod's cages, then implant a control chip to teach them a language and give them commands.

Frankly, I'm surprised this wasn't included with the WW DLC to begin with, and it's a killer addition to that side of the Fallout 4 experience.

Pet - Call - Feed Dogmeat

Having Dogmeat as your faithful companion is the iconic way to play Fallout 4 to match all the original promo imagery, but there are a lot of aspects about giving up your companion slot for a dog that aren't exactly satisfying.

Making Dogmeat more like a real pet, this mod lets you call your hound from anywhere (no more wandering around trying to find the little bugger!) and adds in new animations and options for petting the puppers or feeding him treats that provide additional in-game buffs.

Fog Crawlers Workshop Pets

Those weird, giant shrimp beasts from Far Harbor (that seem like they are supposed to be the aquatic version of death claws) can now follow you around after installing this simple, little mod.

You can craft your own Fog Crawler follower at a chem station, then assign it to hang out at a settlement (if you really want that settlement to be a lot creepier). The mod isn't perfect, though, as the Fog Crawler is a modified version of a settlement structure, so they revert into odd shapes when dying.

Wasteland Pets

A great option for when you don't actually want a new companion but just want the aesthetics of being followed around by animals, this nifty little mod gives you a nice list of creatures to hang out with in the Commonwealth.

From those big, dumb brahmin to a floating bloatfly or scurrying molerat, these craftable pets will follow you around (including with fast travel) but won't interfere with combat or screw up your stealth attempts. Essentially, you can turn the Sole Survivor into a Disney Princess (or D&D druid?) always surrounded by helpful critters!

Pre-War Pets

Adding in a way to make your pre-war home a little more inviting, this simple mod allows you to add as many dogs or cats as you want during the early segment of Fallout 4, before the bombs start to drop.

Fallout 4 new creatures mod 1 12 2

Have fun playing with all the little furry friends before the world goes to hell and Shaun gets kidnapped by a futuristic institute of synthetic beings.

Of course, all those creatures you summon will horribly die about 10 minutes in, but that's par for the course in the Fallout universe.

Fallout New Vegas Creatures Mod

- Savannah Cat
-The cat use still hte vanilla normal map with a little tweaks on the ear, eyes and paws, i don't think it will give any trouble for the mods that use the same normal map.
- Why this breed?
Becuase it is an awsome one, and i wont make other races. if you don't like it, don't download it. All creatures get their own download.
- Radroaches:
I know i don't like them either. But i think also if we like to create a realistic world, then also those creatures needs to be real looking. For sure it will help your gameplay to make it look scary.
- Brahmin:
The brahim you got in two flavors. The wild version or the healthy version. I think with the upcoming mods for mil'king and keeping cows, the healthy versions wil be an good replacer insted the vanilla versions. How can you resist milk and meat from a healthy cow.
But they are still mutated? Yep, being mutated will not always say being sick and unhealthy. It's just mutation.
The wild version is more lore friendly and will fit better in a world for people that doesn't whant the clean and healthy animal wandering the wide world of the Commonwealth.
Can pick one file for the brahmins. Doesn't matter what file you choose, the dead and bloodsucked use the same textures
-Seagull:
The seagull was an creepy ugly thing, at least my personal thought. half naked with creepy sores all over.
I tryed to use the common seagull, but it was hard to find good photo recourses for this bird. or the wings were not clear enough or wrong bird.
So not everything is accurate as the real one but close to.
Thanks to andrey4791, i could make the skin seamless. He made for me an obj for adobe , the meshes for the little feathers that are sticking out i couldn't manage that in adobe.
